Vertical segregation, innovation, and gender diversity in Spain’s industrial sector

Abstract Innovation is a general measure of the success company and shows positive relationship with several key factors such as collaboration universities technology centers or belonging to medium- high-tech sectors. While many studies have found that gender diversity in management teams has influence on companies’ economic success, few focused impact inclusion women board directors product, process, organizational innovation. This paper builds previous knowledge about determinants innovations greater team diversity, compared male-only teams, positively affects achievement said innovations. However, these results change when we incorporate size companies moderating variable.
